Pancham, an Academy of Indian Music, is now a realized dream of the charioteer Shri
Bhupendrabhai Pandit. The religious services to Akhand Jyot of Maa Saraswati were
initiated on the auspicious day of Dashera, the 15th October 2002. Shri Bhupendrabhai
... Pandit is indebted to his Guruji (his father) for this heavenly inspiration.
Dhari Pancham'da's splendid debut in the field of Hindustani classical Music crowned
the Academy and marked the beginning of her journey to MARGI MUSIC.
Dhari had to undergo the rigorous training of the Indian Classical Music as Shri
Bhupendrabhai Pandit, the guruji, closely observed, supervised and directed her path of
Swar Yatra. As a result she was awarded for her all performances at the college too.
She has been doing her RIYAZ with diligence, devotion and dedication and assisting
the guruji in different directions in teaching the junior students. This in turn helped her
understanding the core of each SWAR.
Dashera being the Birth Day of Guruji, every year religious services are offered in the
form of Swarabhishek to Akhand Jyot of Maa Saraswati. Dhari Pancham'da has always
taken the lead actively. Last year in 2007 she offered the swarabhishek incessantly for
61 hours with her seven disciples (Guruji completed 61 years too)
Again in 2008 MARGI MEGA YAJNA was offered to Akhand Jyot of Maa Saraswati
in which Dhari Pancham'da performed for 62 hours with 212 BANDISH in 109 distinct
Ragas celebrating the 62nd Birth Day of her Guruji. This Yajna is recorded by the
GUINNESS WORLD RECORD as "THE LONGEST CONCERT" The rendition of
these Ragas divinely elevated the sentiments of those who witnessed the Yajna. She
proved herself the embodiment of all the values of classical music from start to finish of
the MARGI MEGA YAJNA.
