Biography of Dr. Dhari Pancham' Da

Indian classical music today, is one of the greatest gifts of India to the world.
Dhari Pancham’ Da achievements are beyond compare more so because vocal music is the most intimate and direct medium according to India’s treatise and tradition. And almost beyond belief is also the fact that she has carved out her monumental global following without depriving her many million domestic admires. She has been passionately loyal to her soil, while her music has scaled ethereal heights all over the planet. She has single- handedly paved the way for Indian vocal classical music to resonate across the world.

Humble Beginnings:
Dhari Pancham’ Da was initiated into music by her revered and spiritual Guruji Shri Bhupendra Pandit along her turbulent path of hard-earned maturity.  She completed post graduation in 1996 and Doctorate in music therapy in 2012 from the esteemed Gujarat Pancham music foundation, Ahmedabad.

Contribution by music to community and Nation :
Today Dr Dhari Pancham’ Da is a regularly sought after counsellor and panellist in the music therapy to patient cure management and amazes audiences – those willing to listen to importance of music to Dhari Pancham’ Da. . She has been working as chief music therapist and has actively involved in clinical, academic and research activities in music therapy at national and international level. She treated many patients suffering from chronic diseases : Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Insomnia, other Central Nervous System (CNS) and Nervous Disorders etc. with the help of her paramount experience

Dr Dhari  is invited to judge various contests on classical music and to examine student’s viva / practical papers.

Dhari Pancham’ Da in her own way works in helping the mass movement for youth Empowerment. She firmly believes that small steps taken today will definitely lead to a giant leap tomorrow for the rise of youth hood may it be in physical, mental, intellectual or spiritual strata.

Her world records has given us some rare and inspired compositions in this devotional genre. 
Her Achievements as a classical vocalist inspired many young aspiring and opened the doors for many collaborations.

Although Dhari Pancham’ Da will never claim herself to be greater than her music, witnesses often discuss legendary incidents that have taken the power of her music to utterly incredible levels. Her ardent rendition of Raag Megh Malhar has brought unseasonal showers upon drought-hit soil..

.All this also makes it credible that God does work in mysterious ways and it is not an exaggeration when Dhari Pancham ‘Da herself claims that very often she is caught unawares as she finds herself  at a point of Samadhi whilst singing. It is only when she becomes conscious of the state that the divine link gets severed. And she can then, merely relate it as an extraordinary experience to others.

 Impact Of Work done ;
As a mentor and Guru Dhari Pancham'Da has already presented to the world an impressive number of illustrious disciples whom she has nurtured and trained in accordance with India's rich tradition of the Guru -Shishya parampara,  the ideal teacher -student relationship, doesn't learn only music but also gets guidance of how to perceive life. 

The 2010 year Tana Riri festival was an unique one for Dhari Pancham'Da 's Guinness world record singing of 101 hrs 23 min, 214 Ragas.  Towards the end of her singing she began presenting Raag Megh Malhar.  It started raining at the festival venue at Vadnagar - nearly four centimeters of pouring - something unusual for the usually dry place in the middle of November. 
    As a musician Dhari Pancham'Da is a rare combination of an innovator and a traditionalist. She has significantly expanded the expressive possibilities to classical vocal Margi music through her masterful blowing techniques. 
     Her experimental book Swaradyay  which incorporated many persons,  not only India but also around the world who are making their mark on the Indian classical music front.
